Cold Case File: Julie Cohen
Some people have an early calling in life, and they know what path to take to get them there. In 1977 that path led a 22 year old Julie Cohen to the University of Florida. She was about to become the first woman ever admitted to UF in the Forestry Department's Graduate Studies Program. A star was born the moment she stepped on campus. In this week's Cold Case File, that star still shines, as her memory guides Cold Case Detectives in their search for a killer. Her death remains one of only two homicide cases at the University of Florida.
If you have any information about who killed Julie Cohen you are asked to please contact Lt. Darren Baxley at the University of Florida at 352-392-1111.
Next Monday night in our Cold Case File, the murder of a Gainesville woman found dead by the side of the road two days after Christmas.
