Adopt-A-Pet 10/30/2012: WOOF
Kathleen Griffin Adoption Supervisor at the Marion County Humane Society and Sgt. George Edwards stopped by with some furry friends to talk about the WOOF program.
WOOF takes place at Lowell Correctional in Marion County and stands for Women Offering Obedience and Friendship.
The program is modeled after Paws on Parole in Alachua County and trains dogs for adoption, as well as service dogs with their Patriot Service Dogs program.

Snoopy is a 9 year old neutered male Rat Terrier. He will be available for adoption in about 6 weeks, after he finishes the WOOF program.
Linus is a 7 year old neutered Jack Russell Terrier. He will be available for adoption in about 5 weeks, after he also finishes the WOOF program.
