A bank robbery suspect with socks covering her hands, has been arrested.
Around 9am on Tuesday, Alachua County Deputies say 47 year old, Sacoya Everts, walked into TD Bank on West University Avenue and showed the teller a note with the words, "this is a robbery."
The teller gave Everts a stack of money, and then employees of the bank activated the silent alarm when Everts walked out.
She was spotted less than ten minutes by law enforcement in the area. Alachua County Deputies say Everts still had money from the bank hidden in her pants.
She's being charged with robbery.
