Alachua County Sheriff's Office K-9 assists in arrest of felon

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)- An Alachua County Sheriff’s Office K-9 had his first apprehension on Thursday.

16 month-old Havock assisted deputies with the arrest of 29 year-old Stefon Raysor Jr.

Raysor Jr. was wanted for multiple felonies and a warrant out of Hillsborough County.

“He was arrested for domestic battery, two counts of false imprisonment. One of those four, holding the victim inside an area not allowing her to leave. The other count of false imprisonment for holding his children,” said Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Art Forgey.

Raysor Jr. was also charged with burglary.
He is currently at the Alachua County Jail and his bond has been set at $405,000.
