Marion County deputies have Sean Shea behind bars for domestic abuse charges.
Deputies say Shea battered and strangled a female victim at a home on County Road 25 then fled the scene.
Deputies were able to track him down with the help of a K-9, but when they reached him Shea threatened that he had a gun and a knife and would jill himself.
They were able to get Shea to peacefully surrender and discovered he did not have a gun but he did have a knife.
During the search the deputy and the K-9 stepped into a yellow jackets nest and were stung multiple times but have since recovered and are back on the job.
