Deputies make arrest on I-75 after meth, heroin found in car

Columbia County deputies say a speeding citation turned into much more for one man after they found drugs in his car.

According to deputies, they stopped 34-year-old James Moss for speeding on I-75 north of U.S. 90. A narcotics team then found nearly 17 pounds of meth and over 2,000 grams of heroin in his car.

He was arrested and taken to the Columbia County Jail, where he faces charges of possessing drug equipment, drug trafficking and heroin trafficking.
