Grand Jury rules 'No True Bill Verdict' in case where Levy County deputies shot and killed a man last November

A grand Jury has found that two deputies from Levy County were within their rights to use deadly force on a man that was armed with two knives back in November.

On November 17th deputies responded to a domestic dispute and found 34-year old Michael Goodale armed with two knives.

Sgt. Kevin Kink and deputy Gary Garboski were forced to shoot him after a taser did not subdue him.

The Grand Jurys ruling was returned as 'No true Bill Verdict' saying that they were acting in self defense.
