Man arrested for mutilating multiple kittens after dispute with their owner

Deputies say James Reid was working on a farm where he volunteers, when the owner and James got into an argument.

Following the dispute, Reid proceeded to cut the tails off of five, 4-week old kittens that the owner of the farm had. James said, "he wanted the owner to look at the cats and think of him".

He faces charges of animal cruelty and was taken to the Marion County jail where he was released on bond.
