Tech Tuesday: Companies Occupy New Space at the Innovation Hub

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB)- After a year and a half of construction, Phase 2 of the Innovation Hub in Gainesville opened on January 2nd. The addition to the complex doubles the space available for companies, offering the latest in LEED energy-saving technology. The expanded space provides resources like lab space and furniture, continuing the Hub's mission to promote entrepreneurial spirit.

Four of the 8 companies occupying the newly constructed space moved from the other side of the building because they wanted new and larger space to accommodate their growing businesses. Their move freed up some space in Phase 1, which gave longstanding companies an opportunity to expand without relocating their offices.
