Family Spotlight 4/8/10 "Childhood Bullies"
Published April 8th, 2010
More than three quarters of all children of middle school age say they have been bullied, according to the federal Department of Justice. There are different degrees of "bullying"...starting with little more than teasing. But it can get rough. Nine teenagers in Massachusetts face criminal charges after they were accused of hounding their classmate into killing herself.
In the Family Spotlight, Eboni Baugh, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Family Life at the University of Florida, explains to TV 20's David Snyder what constitutes "bullying" and how to put an end to it.
