People who are behind bars can't be parents, can't raise their children. And that hurts the children.
A common way for parents to connect with their children is to read to them. And some inmates involved in a unique program in North Central Florida are able to do just that.
In the Family Spotlight, Peggy Cole of the United Methodist Women at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gainesville (352/376-6615) explains to TV 20's David Snyder how children of inmates are getting a special present from their mother.
