Some of the world's most under-appreciated athletes are getting a lift from one of the world's most celebrated athletes.
Bob Beamon, who absolutely destroyed the world record for the long jump at the Mexico City Olympics in 1968, is showing support for the dancers of the Dance Alive National Ballet, headquartered in Gainesville.
In the Family Spotlight, Beamon tells TV 20's David Snyder about the "Art of the Olympians" program and how we will perform in the "Fire and Ice" event 7:30 Friday night at the Phillips Center.
