We're now getting the official word on that internet sex sting in alachua county that we first told you about on monday.

     The law enforcement agencies today shared more information about the operation that caught 21 men.

     TV 20's Duke Carter joins us live from one location where they arrested a physician's assistant caught up in the sting.

     Matthew Gendron was arrested here at a gas station similar to this one in Northwest Gainesville.

     Another man arrested lives in Spanish Trace Apartments in Southwest Gainesville.

     Residents say they can't believe he is accused of trying to sex with minors could live next door.

"I never expected a person like that to live out here."

       And Shocked to find out his neighbor Anthony Assanti one of the 21 men arrested lives there.

"its a shame that somebody is allowed to be out here like that i guess you never know"

       Assanti had ads on Craigslist.

This one states looking for a cute girl. and explained  he wanted to have some fun.

"its real sad you don't know what the world is coming to now."

Assanti had another one.

"Baby mama wanted." stating in this ad he will take care of all medical needs and expenses and loss of work for 9 months to a year.

"I have grandkids, when i heard about i thought about them."

       According to arrest reports Assanti was communicating via email with a detective posing as a teen.

        In the report Assanti made arrangements at a house at an undisclosed location where he was arrested.

"i think its also an important time for us to kind of reflect on the serious nature of this crime."

      Law enforcement officials say they're pleased to get 21 people in seven days off the streets but…

"how many people who are out there who are willing to come to a location to have sex to basically rape a child its a deplorable statement to make but indicates the need for this type of operation."

      But now this small tight community will be on the lookout for anything out the ordinary.

"if you see something suspicious let somebody  know and also pray…"

   Federal prosecutors say charges for Assanti and the other 20 could range from crimes engaging in sex activity and enticement of a child
online.
