LAKE CITY- When we last reported on Whitey Norris, a paraplegic rescued from his flooded home he was waiting on permanent housing.
Norris says, “Two Walmart bags full of clothes is all I got out with..I know how people feel when their house burns down, I mean because you lose everything, you have to start all over.”
Norris like some in the community sees a light at the end of the tunnel, that begins with a new home
They’re clearing the lot to build a new house, I close on it next Friday.’
This years Atlantic Hurricane season tied with four other seasons as the third most active in recorded history.
The 2012 season included 19 named tropical systems, of those 10 were hurricanes.
