Salvation Army Lends Hand To Debby Victims

The Salvation Army is on the front-lines, lending a hand to those communities affected by tropical storm debby earlier this week.
Units from Gainesville, Jacksonville and Tallahassee stationed their vehicles in live oak providing hot meals and water since Tuesday, to victims of this disaster.
Salvation Army Corps Officer, Lieutenant Preston Lewis says, "With their houses completely destroyed, damage beyond moving back anytime soon they'll be here for the foreseeable future and the Salvation Army will be right here with them making sure they're fit."
The Salvation Army is providing shelter to those who have lost their home and up to date has managed to serve more than 2,000 meals.
