Pain At The Pumps
Published March 19th, 2007
The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Florida is now just over $2.00 or 57cents, and there is no sign of relief in sight.
Motorists can expect even higher gasoline prices in the coming week according to American Automobile Association.
The average price for gas in Florida is higher than the national average by about two cents. A month ago the average cost of a gallon of gas was $2.25.
AAAÂ says that the reason for the high prices is that overall demand is high and numerous refineries are still temporarily off line for annual spring maintenance.
