Scare at Elementary School
Published August 13th, 2007
It happened Sunday afternoon at Trenton Elementary.
Deputies arrested Willie Ellison of Trenton for the burglary. First Ellison had to take a trip to the hospital because deputies say he was foaming at the mouth and claimed to be on drugs.
Ironically school officials say they were ready for just this.
"Just this past week our Sheriff's Department completed their annual training and how to handle security risks in schools," says Gilchrist County School Superintendent Buddy Vickers.
Some teachers at Trenton Elementary tell WCJB for the upcoming school year, they're going to keep their classroom doors locked.
