Wright Investigation
It was over four months ago that Lt. Corey Dahlem was hit by a truck during the celebration of the Gators National Basketball Championship.
Gainesville Police say Austin Wright was the driver of the truck that struck Lt. Dahlem.
A 20 minute video that was released to WCJB Monday, shows Wright in handcuffs and then taking part in several DUI tests .
The sobriety test took place in a parking garage. Troopers asked Wright to first touch his nose with his index finger, then to walk in a straight line while counting out loud.
Next, he was asked to balance on one foot while counting and then finally to say the alphabet.
The State Attorney's Office says on August 20th there will be a Case Management Conference in which a judge will review the status of the case and possibly schedule a trial date.
Wright is not required to appear at the hearing.
