Church Locked Down
A church and certain areas of Hawthorne were on lockdown last night after Alachua County Sheriff deputies searched for a suspected gunman.
Deputies received a domestic dispute call around seven o'clock last night about a 20 year old man arguing with his sister and mother.
According to deputies the son said "someone is going to die tonight" and than stuffed a handgun into his waistband.
The family left and by the time deputies arrived at the scene, so did the man.
That's when deputies locked down Eden Baptist Church and parts of southeast county road 219-a...people were eventually escorted out of the church.
Deputies were able to get the suspects cell phone number and called him and found he was at a friends house nearby.
The suspect met with deputies and deputies say because there was no specific threat and no one was in real danger no criminal charges will be filed.
