Taser Review Committee Broadens Scope

They focused on First Amendment rights and freedom of speech. They also discussed when it is appropriate for police to intervene at a public event.
"I think our committee is working hard to understand things so I think we're off to a good start," said Committee Chair Kim Tanzer.
The committee is meeting again next Tuesday where they plan to discuss Fourth Amendment rights.
