Attorney faces Child Porn Charges
A Gainesville attorney who ran for a circuit judge seat in 2004 is now in need of an attorney. FBI agents raided his office November 2nd. The U.S. Attorneys office has summoned Craig Francis Hall to federal court next week following accusations of possessing child pornography.  Hall was issued the summons on November 2nd to appear in court November 14. Count one accuses Hall of knowingly possessing child pornography that includes visual depictions of children taking part in sexually explicit acts. When he arrives in court next week, he will appear before Senior U.S. District Court Judge Maurice Paul.  Agents seized potential evidence from what was his law office on northeast first street in Gainesville. His attorney Larry Turner says he can not issue a formal statement but does expect Hall will be released next week on a signature bond. The case is the work of the FBI and ICAT (The North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force).
