Despite Tragic Incident, Horse Competition Continued

An international horse competition continued today in Ocala. After a tragic accident, left many stunned.
For three years, The Florida Horse Park in Ocala has been the site of The Florida International Three Day horse riding tournament. On Saturday, Eleanor Brennan a native of Virginia, was riding her horse when it stumbled at a jump. The horse tumbled onto its neck and landed on Brennan, killing both brennan and her horse. Tom Warriner, Chairman, for The Florida Horse Park, says, "It's dishearting, I'm not an eventer. But I've come to know quite a few of them and admire not only their spirit, but their guts."
In honor on Eleanor Brennan, flags at the florida horse park flew at half staff. There was also a moment of silence.
