Published February 22nd, 2008
The University of Florida is facing another budget crisis for the upcoming year. In a meeting today, President Bernie Machen announced they'll be cutting an estimated $22.3 million dollars. Some faculty members at U.F. say they are worried about their jobs, but Machen says there's a university reserve fund that they'll pull $11.45 million dollars from. Many say there's no way they'll come up with the difference by the next fiscal year and this has some faculty members concerned about their jobs. Thalia Hayden WCJB TV20 News.
