Alex Coppock and Richard Jaggers Remembered This Weekend

Alex Coppock and Richard Jaggers were supposed to graduate a week from Thursday at Newberry High School. Coppock was planning on playing football at Tusculum college in Tennessee and major in education and leadership development. Today, his family and friends celebrated his life and accomplishments. Alex Coppock and Richard Jaggers died when Jagger's car lost control on state road 24, about a mile and a half west of Archer. Neither teen was wearing a seat belt. Alex Coppock is survived by his father, mother, sister and brother. His family expressed their sincere appreciation for everyone who has supported them during this time.
