Alachua County School Budget Cut Outrage

Alachua county plans on countering the 18 to 20 million dollar cuts by potentially increasing taxes for homeowners. The proposed one million dollar property tax increase for four years would give money to the arts programs so they can return to normal. If the ballot proposal is passed, the money will be available July 2009 for the school system's use only.
