Alachua County School Bus Drivers Get Small Pay

The people in charge of the Transportation Department switched up pay dates for their drivers so they would get an equal dollar figure in both summer paychecks but that's not going to happen.
According to the School Board, the change of date for bus driver's paychecks was done in good faith. The only problem is the Transportation Department is no different than any other school department, and they cannot change their own pay system. The School Board will pay the drivers like any other employee working summer school, which means a three day paycheck to last until the next pay date on July 13th.
