Precious Rocker testified that she had seen Crawford beat 5-year-old Coreyon Graham with a belt. Two other witnesses Anthony Perry and Jarad Style testified that they were at Crawford's the night before the boy's death, and that Coreyon was playing video games with his father.

That testimony was intended to refute the defense's claim that Coreyon's grandmother was responsible for the injuries that caused the boy's death.
