Marion Schools Make-Up Days
Published August 29th, 2008
MARION COUNTY – Thanks to Tropical Storm Fay, students attending Marion County Public Schools will make up four days of classes. Bad weather cancelled school August 19-22.
These student make-up days are as follows:
October 24 – Early Release Day (students released two hours early)
November 26 – Early Release Day (day before Thanksgiving)
December 19 – Early Release Day (day before Winter Break)
January 15 – Regular Day
All four of these days were previously "no school" days for students. In addition, November 12 is now a regular school day instead of an early release day.
