Several communities in our area held night out rallies including a group of seven neighborhoods that came together at Lincoln Park in southeast Gainesville on Tuesday evening.

Event Organizer Eartha Wright says the purpose of the event is for people to get to know their neighbors as well as to strengthen their neighborhood crime watch programs.
