Ike May Spike Gas Prices

WCJB has learned of several rumors concerning a shortage of gas due to Hurricane Ike, and the potential that gas could reach significantly higher prices. According to AAA and the Florida Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association these rumors are NOT true. However, drivers may see some short term price increases due to the temporary closure of some Texas oil refineries. Stay tuned to WCJB TV20 for more information at 5:30.
