The worlds of collegians and kookaburras collided Wednesday for one high- profile guest.

Congressman Cliff Stearns visited The Teaching Zoo on the Santa Fe Campus today. He also toured the Health Sciences and Biotechnological programs at the school. His opponent in the election democrat Tim Cunha says he wants a chance to debate him on the issues... something he says Stearns has refused.

"We've shown up three or four times that he didn't show up for and other times he's shown up to all my town meetings and I welcome him to ask questions, he never asks questions."

"These are packaged presentations by his paid congressional staff throughout the year where he goes, gives a power point presentation and says what he thinks is important about the issues."

Stearns didn't spend his entire tour outdoors... he also visited the planetarium.
