Troop 1040
They are as young as ten or eleven and they are working on the Ms. President patch. This is a White House program available to girl scouts all across the U.S.
Our girl scouts are completing a series of activities to learn about what it takes to become a good leader.
For these girls it is all about getting to know the political process. Christa Jones hopes to one day be a part of the House of Representatives.
"You just make these good decisions and you have to think about all the other people in the U.S. you just can't think about what you want. You have to think about everybody else."
The troop leader explained that adding the extra Ms. President patch will help the girls understand that they too can one day be president. For more on this story please see video:
