A little before 10AM Sunday, Gainesville Police responded to an armed robbery at the "Kwik Stop" convenience store located on Southwest 16th Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene immediately and are now searching for the gunman. GPD and the part-time employee confirm that he fled the store on foot in the direction of Southwest 13th street.

Ajay, who preferred TV 20 News, did not use his last name thought it was going to be just another Sunday at his friend's convenience store.

"It's plain and simple he would have shot me if it was a real gun," Ajay said. For more on this story please see video:
