A Veterans Day Celebration in North Central Florida this week paid special tribute to Vietnam Veterans.

A traditional gun salute wrapped up the event at Camp Blanding Museum and Memorial Park. Guest speaker Richard Capps, who fought in the Vietnam War, says it was a good opportunity to recognize his fellow veterans.

It's just heart-warming to know that the American people appreciate American veterans."

Capps says he served in the military for more than 44 years and was a pilot in the army. Also attending the event ... were patriot guard riders, and students in the Florida youth challenge academy.
