FHP and Thanksgiving
Published November 25th, 2008
Thanksgiving holiday is typically the time of heavy traffic for people traveling on the roadways. Florida Highway Patrol troopers want to remind motorists to be safe behind the wheel.
FHP says there have been 145 deaths just in this month alone on Florida highways. Drivers should allow themselves plenty of time to reach their destination. Drive sober and buckle up on each and every road trip. Holidays are a time for celebration, but FHP don't want you to forget safety behind the wheel.
