Holiday Traditions
We are almost through our first full week of November and that means the holidays are coming fast...
Practice for the 12th Annual "Holiday Traditions Concert" took place this afternoon at P.K. Young where students rehearsed songs for this year's concert.
he high school choirs and the Alachua County Youth Orchestra will be preparing in the upcoming weeks for the concert. the fun begins on Sunday November 30th that is the Sunday after Thanksgiving at 4:00 pm at the Phillips Center at UF.
"it never gets old no matter how many years you do it... It's actually a lot of fun every year."
Admissions to the concert will go towards Children's Cancer Research at Shands of UF and over the years over 150 thousand dollars have been raised.
This year will be the last time that Musical Director Russel Robinson conducts the holiday traditions concert.
