Undercover agents walked the streets of Marion County waiting to catch prostitutes and solicitors in the act.

They call it the "John Reverse" because the crime comes to the agents.

Ocala police say they caught several men trying to solicit sex from undercover officers. Police say the location on South Pine Street and another on State Road 40 are known areas for prostitution so they weren't too surprised to make ten arrests during their sting operation including two female prostitutes.

Ocala Police Captain Mike Scroble says there are always plenty of excuses."A lot of them will say they really weren't doing what they were doing...they were just going to give the girl a ride or they were going to do this or that... the problem is it was all recorded on audio and video... so it's not a problem proving that they were doing more than giving a ride. The going rate runs from 20 to 50 dollars.

For many of the men arrested the hardest part was explaining to their wives and girlfriends why they were in custody.
