"I was surprised because normally stuff like this doesn't happen," Charmeka Danzy, Kanapaha student, said.
      Charmeka Danzy, who was grocery shopping at Publix in Tower Square with her family tonight, says she was shocked when she found out another student was arrested at Kanapaha Middle School.
     She's a sixth grader there.
     And today at school... the third arrest was made in three days.  
     This time, deputies say a 14-year-old boy was arrested for intimidating witnesses in connection with the sexual assault investigation of a 13-year-old classmate last month.
     "The suspect arrested today was best friends in one of the suspects arrested initially in the sexual battery case," Lt. Steve Maynard, Alachua County Sheriff's Office, said.
     Deputies say he threatened to beat up the witness who were helping authorities in this case.     He was arrested on third degree felony charges for intimidating witnesses.
     "He chose to come to school today and threaten witnesses," Lt. Maynard said.
      Lt Maynard says a school resource  officer told the teen to stop... but deputies say he continued... so they had no choice but to arrest him.
     "He was warned.  He was given ample opportunity because we're dealing with a 14-year-old to cease and assist," Lt. Maynard said.
     Kanapaha's principal says she wants parents to know...despite what's happened,  they don't have to worry about their children when they drop them off at school.
     "We handle things and we take care of things and act appropriately as we have in this situation and I just want to assure everyone that it's a good place to be," Jennie Wise, principal, said.
      In Tower Square, the majority of people said despite being shocked by the news of another student arrest... they feel the school and the sheriff's office are handling the situation.
     "They have a lot of deans walking around all the time to make sure we get to class safely," Danzy said.
