Perhaps just as captivating were the personal stories told by the Veterans that flew these airplanes in the war.
Colonel Phillip Newman flew a B 17 in WWII. He remembers when his plane nearly crashed. The Colonel admitted that flying one of these planes is not easy. From take off to cruising altitudes this planes allows a few generation of passangers to experience a piece of history. For more on this story please see video:
