Alachua County Fire Rescue... along with the High Springs and Williston fire departments... put the fire out before it reached the houses.
But it wasn't easy.
Firefighters had a tough time trying to maneuver their trucks down the small dirt roads, which made it different for them to gauge how big the fire actually was.
The helicopter from the sheriff's office went up to give us a view of what was going on
There was another fire in that same area just last month.
The cause of that one is still undetermined.
