A single-engine, experimental aircraft has crashed into an Ocala RV park, killing one person.
Officials say two recreational vehicles caught on fire from the 3 p.m. crash on Friday at the Wild Frontier RV Park. The fires were later extinguished.
Sgt. Angy Scroble, a spokeswoman for the Ocala police department, says there is one confirmed fatality, and it appears to be the pilot.
     Authorities are still investigating.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen says the home-built plane is registered to John A. Hambleton.
