Santa Fe Student Government works with steady budget

Even though city, county and state government officials have had to deal with budget cuts in the past few years, one type of "government" has not.
Student Government leaders at Santa Fe College say their budget has not dropped -- or increased -- dramatically. And they don't expect it to do so any time soon.
Still, they are not totally immune to the weak economy. They say they are affected -- indirectly. While the amount of money it the Student Government budget stays the same, the cost of some expenses in that budget are going up.
So, those student leaders have had to consider cuts of their own.
