Bank Robbery in Ocala
A bank robbery occurred this morning at
10:06 a.m at the Bank of America located at 1120SE 17th St., Ocala,
Marion County, Fla.
The suspect came into the bank and
presented a note demanding money and advising the bank that he had a
bomb, according to Sgt. Angy Scroble, PIO with the Ocala Police
Department.
No bomb or weapon was seen and no one
was injured.
The Ocala Police Department is
searching the perimeter for the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black
male, 5 feet 6 inches tall with dark skin, a bushy heavy black beard,
slim build.
He is wearing a green army jacket with
“ US Army†written on the left breast pocket with a gray hooded
sweatshirt underneath, dark green pants, black sneakers, a watch on
his left wrist and silver aviator-type glasses.
