Gainesville Connection with Tallahassee Shooting

A Tallahassee man was arrested in
Gainesville for a shooting that occurred at a McDonald's/Circle K in
Leon County last Sunday.
Tashawabie Breyon Gay was arrested at a
family member's home in Gainesville without incident by deputies of
the Alachua County Sheriff's Office.
Curtis Brown, 26, was found dead in the
front parking lot of the McDonald's/Circle K located at 811 Lake
Bradford in Leon County after apparently getting into an argument
with Gay by the bike rack, according to the Leon County Sheriff's
Office.
Gay fled to a family member's home in
Gainesville and was tracked down by the Alachua County Sheriff's
Office in cooperation with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement
and the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
Gay is charged for Felony Murder, 2
counts of Attempted Murder and Discharging a Fire Arm in Public.
Gay is a validated gang member of a
Tallahassee gang.
Gay was booked into the Alachua County
Jail and will be transported to the Leon County Jail in the near
future.
