Levy County Issues Own Flood Warning

A flood warning has been
issued for Levy County along the Suwannee River. The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for residents living along the Suwannee River in Levy County.
Residents are urged to pay attention to TV20, and to visit www.levydisaster.com for up-to-date information.
The National Weather Service has stated that water levels will begin to exceed flood stage at Manatee Springs and Fowler's Bluff, beginning April 12th and the predicted crest for april 21 in these areas.
Flood stage for Manatee Springs is 11 feet and is expected to crest on April 21 at 13.5 feet.
Flood stage for Fowler's Bluff is 5.5 feet and is expected to crest on April 21 at 8.9 feet.
Levy County boat ramps along the Suwannee will be closed at dusk on April 11, until further notice or until the flood waters subside.
Sandbags will be available
to residentsat the Fowlers Bluff Fire Department.
