FCAT Results Show Improvement in Third-Grade Math Skills

Third-grade math and reading FCAT scores were released on Thursday.
North Central Florida school districts fared well on the exams.
Alachua and Columbia counties were at or above state levels for reading and math. Dixie County was above in math and just below average in reading. Gilchrist and Marion counties were above state levels in both categories. Levy county was below state levels in math and reading.
