Arrests Made in Chaffin Murder
Two men are under arrest in the shooting death of Archer resident Clair C. Chaffin.
He was shot during a robbery attempt as he traveled through Florence, South Carolina.
Authorities have arrested 25-year-old Sylvester Davis Jr., and 17-year-old Dondre Michael Scott. Both have been charged with murder.
While South Carolina authorities make their case for the two men who killed him, his family, friends and fellow Marines are dealing with the stunning loss.
TV 20's Joey Parker shows us how a high school drop-out lived the life of a hero.
Clair Chaffin attended junior college and majored in building construction.
In recognition of his sacrifice to serve his country, Governor Jeb Bush awarded him a full high school diploma from the State of Florida, in 2004.
Memorial and funeral services are being arranged.
