Report: Woman Beaten and Raped at Hotel
A young woman was beaten and raped and beaten at a Gainesville hotel last night, according to police reports.
The 19-year-old woman was supposed to dance for a man named "Ronnie" and two of his friends.
Around 10:30, four men showed up at the Knights Inn on 2820 NW 17th Street.
Once inside the hotel room, police say two of the three men began beating the woman and then three men sexually battered her.
G.P.D. Lt. Keith Kameg says, "We have a number of concerns here. Our first concern is obviously her health and well-being. Number two making an arrest in this case."
The men left the hotel in a light silver-colored, four-door car, possibly a newer model Honda, according to police.
