Second Ocala Home Invasion in One Week
Published June 4th, 2009
It's the second home invasion in just one week.
Police say two men wielding shot guns burst into a Northeast Ocala home late Wednesday night.
The suspects, who witnesses say were dressed in black and wearing ski masks, took cash. As they were leaving, they stole the resident's car.
“I haven't been given any information that links them or denies a link,” said Sgt. Angy Scroble with the Ocala Police Department.
On Monday, a Northeast Ocala home was invaded. During that robbery, shots were fired at the resident.
In both cases, no one was injured.
