Alachua Prepares for the 4th of July
Published July 4th, 2009
The City of Alachua is hosting it's 10th annual firework celebration for the 4th of July. Over 65 workers, staff and volunteers help set up for the past three days. The event, which is said to cost around 60,000 dollars, is expected to draw in more than 20,000 North Central Florida residents this year, since Gainesville is not having a firework show.
